 gapps Hi,
anybody success installing gapps? Google Apps packet (gtalk, gmail, goggles, etc...)
I tried to put into recovery (power on and when vimicro logo appears, press menu) and flash from sdcard the gapps-mdpi-20110613-signed.zip but it fails with "Signature verification failed"

Re: gapps Hi all! I succeeded installing manually the gapps pack. Now i'm able to use gtalk, sync contacts and so on. The steps i followed was simple: *Connect with adb *adb root *downloaded gapps-midp-2011-05-01 (i reduced its apps to my interests and uploaded it to mediafire for you http://www.mediafire.com/?gdalcsdm8vjttuu) <- This link was down, but you can download "official" gapps site: http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-mdpi-20110501-signed.zip *unpacked the full system files and folders from the zip. *Copy the whole system to the haipad: adb push .\system /system *Reboot and that's all (i told you the steps i remember, but i could make some mistakes; be carefull doing the operation)

as i know gtalk make the same as skype, isn't it?

Re: gapps No need to have the clockworkmod flashed on it. I've been done this simply with the device working and usb debugging activated.
