Re: problem with screen/not booting up correctly.
Well the link was for you to download the correct ROM for your tablet.....
If you flash the correct ROM for your tablet, it should start working again. Which ROM did you try and flash?

Re: problem with screen/not booting up correctly.
LOL, you said you tried installing new firmware..... If you have a v2 tablet - download this ROM - http://www.zenithink.com/UploadFile/android_2.2_512_4GB_10_0503_3V.rar, uncompress the rar file and create a folder on your external sdcard and name it zt-update and put the files in that folder. Turn your tablet on and then press the left volume/toggle button when you see the epad logo, it should then scan your sdcard in the specified folder for the ROM files and flash accordingly...... Display problem - maybe this post on SlateDroid can help you - http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/16992-display-problem-after-upgrade-new-fw/You should probably take a look at this too - http://www.slatedroid.com/wiki/index.php?title=Wiki:ZT-180v2_FAQ and maybe this - http://www.slatedroid.com/wiki/index.php?title=Wiki:ZT-180_FAQ

Re: problem with screen/not booting up correctly.
Hey Everyone, I have tried to flash my ZT180 v1 256M 2G epad over twenty times using 4 different ROMs and it either turns off the desktop or gives a bsd. I tried to flash from a micro SD card which didn't work but I had read that this would not work the first time for it had to be done thru USB. The following is what I get when I turn on my epad => EPAD => linux penguin => ANDROID_(flashing underscore). Any hints on what I should try next?
