Thanks for the link to the new v7.0 firmware. I have downloaded it (in Vista it goes into the Downloads folder) but I was wondering how do I get the new version onto my GM2000. Will the GM2000 automatically pick up the new version (from being recharged etc by my computer) or do I have to save it onto the GM2000 physically? Sorry for the newbie question but I have only had the player for a couple of weeks and finding there was no english in the instructions has been a bit tricky for me!

I found Nicolas72's instructions on the firmware and think I have updated it safely even though it doesn't seem to look any different! Thanks Nicolas

I tried to upgrade to firmware V7.0 from v5.0...
I did it ok, but after that I can´t open pdf files and videos.

So I downgrade to v6.1, but I still can´t open pdf files, but now I can open videos again.
Now, I´m trying to come back to v5.0...

but it didn´t work too.

I guess v5.0 is the best, is the fastest, run everything that I want, and I didn´t found any bug.

If someone has a v7.0 or v6.1 that´s run fast as v5.0, and works everything, could post here, please?
