We are probably not getting an ICS update anytime soon, so I decided to theme the current firmware to look like Android 4.0

Ice Cream Sandwich theme for M8 1GB version

Disclaimer:

Requirements:
You need to have version 1028 firmware or my rom installed: mikeNG v1.1 otherwise it will not work.
You also need ClockworkMod recovery installed.
You will need to do a factory reset after applying the theme (if you don't, many apps will force close).

Installation:
Copy the zip to the external sd of your tablet, flash it and do a factory reset. All done!

11.It took me almost 3 days to port the theme, so at least press the thanks button to show some respect! Don't forget to thank the creator of course, link of the original theme is below.

So will the tablet be more unstable with this mod? Can you post a video or more screenshots please? I thank you for your efforts but frankly I take usability over looks any day.

Edit: The mod is very stable, but I am having problems with the new Music app.

The only way to open it is going to /system/app and installing the aplication, but after reboot the tablet, it doesn't work again.

I tried the theme. There were a bit of force closes until the device settled down. However now it is ok, and it looks beautiful. Well done mikeNG!

I had only Force Closes with the new music app. I removed it and installed a new one, and no more FC.

The other "problem" is that when I switch off the screen, the animation (CRT animation) runs a little bit slow.

The rest is perfect, like having a new device

installed the Theme too.
but Have little Problems with the Notification bar.
When i open the notification bar some of the entrys have black background and black Font color...

To see what i mean, download Winamp and play a Shoutcast Stream. Then pull down the notification bar and see you see nothing
would be nice if you can fix this.
