Post Haipad governors and what about 1300hz?
Ciao,

I use on a rooted M8 the No-Frills CPU Control to change governor and range:
https://market.android.com/details?id=i ... sCPU&hl=en

with system panel and basic menu actions I tested responsiveness for the governors:

Userspace - 400hz fixed
Powersave - 400hz fixed
Performance - fixed 1000 hz
Conservative - dinamic, slow changing (8 sec from 400 to 1000)

Ondemand, cqf - dynamic - normal changing (4 sec)
Ondemand, deadline - dynamic - normal changing (4 sec)
Ondemand, noop - dynamic - fast changing (2 sec)

It is strange for me to have userspace to be fixed to 400hz.
Best option for responsiveness is Ondemand, noop. I still have to check battery life but should be ok.

What about the 1300hz option that should be present for the VC882?
Do you know how we could enable it?

To advertise it as 1300mhz but then to have it only 1000mhz and have no way to adjust it... I think its an advertisement lie.
Intel release a chip...just because it can be clocked to 5ghz doesnt mean they advertise it that way. Also I agree wish the userspace cpu mhz freq was at 500.

Fix Gyro and Fix CPU then we are all much happier.

Oh I was wondering about that. So it's not just mine that's clocked at 1000mhz. I also has 805MB of RAM and not 1GB. But I'm not complaining. It is fast enough as it is. And this may be a problem with the kernel, not the tablet itself. The kernel only has those frequencies enabled. Now I do not know how to modify a kernel, and even so, I do not know if the CPU can take 1300mhz. Plus as I said before, 1000mhz is enough for me.
