Re: Ainol Novo8 WIFI BOOST??? My Dlink DIR-615 router is in the basement and I am on the 3rd floor and I have about 50-60% signal. I don't know if that is good or bad, but at least it is usuable for browsing and youtube.
What firmware are you on? For me when I was on 0627, I couldn't get a connection at all, but on 0719 and later firmware I could get wireless wifi connecting.

Hi, Thanks for your interest...Then, I have a DLink DSL-G624T, enough old to be honest, but I had another chinese tablet and its wifi worked good, and also better with notebooks.With my novo 8 instead, in the next room of router, at 4/5 meters of distance, it almost don't work. Maybe some settings of my network are uncorrect, or better uncompatible with novo 8? I don't know. With all firmware the result is the same, even the 0719 firmware is the worst. Youtube for example is almost impossible to use..

Anyone knows if some wireless usb adapter are compatible with android, and so with our novo 8?

Re: Ainol Novo8 WIFI BOOST??? The amlogic kernel source shows device drivers for rtl8192su wireless chipset. I will compile the kernel module and test it to see if it works. If it does I'll add it to my custom ROM.
