Post 14/12/2011-2.3.4 Gingerbread Firmware (Very Stable)
FINALLY!

Hi, this is the link where you can find the last gingerbread based firmware (14/12/2011). I think that it is the most stable version until now. First of all the power button issue seems solved. Anyway this is the direct download link: http://translate.googleusercontent.com/ ... WxznbBy_7Q
MAYBE (translation from Chinese) I read on the imp3 forum, that this could be the preview of the first official gingerbread based firmware. :o . Maybe the Ainol after all has remembered of his Novo 8! ;)
For Cheeyee and NebularNerd, first of all thanks for your work, (probably you already know of this firmware) and I would ask you if you can make a new Roms based on this new firmware, first of all it needs other languages, like Italian :D . Of course I'm Italian, and as always, sorry for my poor English.

Anyway a new rom can be found yet at this link (I Have Not Yet Tested it. I Prefer the Pure Android Firmwares):

Instead for Root I used this simple method:
Download This Archive (ZIP) file and don't extract it:http://www.multiupload.com/HJ4XN7WMKO
Copy it in the SD Card and from Recovery Menu Choose Apply Update from SD Card.
Go on the above ZIP files, wait and lastly reboot.
However this method is for another Rom based on the old Gingerbread firmware, I tried it and did well, but obviously remember that there is a risk of things going wrong, also with the firmware installation of course.
Enjoy it ;) and I hope that this is really the preview of an official firmware from Ainol and only the first of other updates. Thanks.
Hello :D

Sorry Cheeyee, only now :? I have seen your new rom based on this firmware, I will try it very soon. Hi and Thanks.
