Post Brick Alert. Help! - Solved!
Hi Everyone,

I'm really at the end of my rope.
I updated my Novo8 to HNCZP - than, because of the many chinese menu items, tried to update to 826 and that was the end.
Whatever I tried: recovery, etc. I read all the links and threads and tried: nothing.
The device gives a short buzz, sometimes a very short light flash, and that's it.
Has someone, an android magician, a latest solution or idea  ?

Have you tried to hold the power button pressed longer?

Tried to press the reset buttom?

This short buzz and short light happens when you press and release too early.

Try different sd cards. For me only 1 out of 3 worked when using the recovery tools.

i would at least try a PC with Windows Xp when restoring a update img File. Windows 7/Vista doesn't seem to work with the USB Image Tool

go here http://www.mp4nation.net/forum/viewtopi ... =4&t=22873 and read under Revert back to an earlier Firmware/ROM

Hello.
The good news:
The short buzz on android devices usually means that your batteries are depleted. If you are lucky the tablet only wants to defend its batteries before you completely kill them.
The bad news:
The only (software side) way to make your device totally inoperable is to FORCE your device FAIL the firmware upgrade procedure by a power-failure.
To do:
Allow your device to catch some electrons. Plug in your charger, wait patiently at least 20-25 minutes (2-3 hours recommended) and pray for the untouched state of your boot-loader.
Disconnect your charger and press the reset button.
(Pray some more)
Try to switch it on...
